Shaping the Future of Children’s Healthcare in Ireland
Children’s Health Ireland (CHI) unites the expertise of Crumlin, Temple Street, Tallaght and Connolly hospitals to deliver world-class care for children and young people.
At the heart of a new national network of care, the children’s hospital on the St James’s campus will serve as the epicentre, supported by satellite and regional centres providing comprehensive paediatric services. This state-of-the-art facility will deliver highly specialised and complex care across the island of Ireland, while also acting as the local children’s hospital for Dublin, Wicklow, Kildare and parts of Meath.
Together with two satellite centres at Tallaght University Hospital and Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown, the new hospital will bring 39 paediatric specialties under one roof, supported by advanced equipment, facilities and digital systems. It will also be a centre for education, research and innovation.
