The HSE is developing Community Neuro-Rehabilitation Teams, to help people after serious neurological illness or injury to improve health outcomes, reduce disability and improve quality of life.

We are recruiting Senior and Clinical Specialists Health and Social Care Professionals and other roles for Community Neuro-Rehabilitation Teams in HSE Dublin and Midlands, HSE South West, HSE West and North West, HSE Dublin and South East.

Who works on a Community Neuro-Rehabilitation Team?

Community Neuro-Rehabilitation Teams include

– Consultant in Rehabilitation Medicine
– Physiotherapy
– Occupational Therapy
– Speech and Language Therapy
– Psychology
– Social Work
– Nursing
– Health and Social Care assistants
– Administrative staff

Teams provide intensive therapy to people in their homes and in a clinic.  This provides people with earlier access to specialist Neuro-Rehabilitation close to home. The team provides a person centered service, improving people’s quality of life and working together to support people with Neuro-Rehabilitative needs.

Your professional development is supported with study leave, attending relevant courses, online training and the HSE leadership academy.

Education structures will be set up promote learning across all Community Neuro-Rehab Teams.

Coaching, mentoring and performance achievement allow team members to expand and develop their skill set and competence.
