Our BreastCheck team includes clinical and non-clinical specialists who are crucial in every step of the screening process – senior radiographers, clinical specialists, quality assurance radiographers, PACS managers, and regional service managers.

Dr Alissa Connors, Clinical Director and Consultant Radiologist at BreastCheck Southern Unit in Cork
Dr Alissa Connors has 21 years of experience as a Consultant Radiologist and received her CSST in Radiology in 2002, having completed her FFR, RCSI and five years training. Dr Connors undertook Radiology training at Cork University Hospital (CUH) and completed her final year at the Hammersmith and Charing Cross Hospitals, London focusing on breast and oncological imaging.
In 2006, Dr Connors took up the role of Clinical Director and lead Radiologist in the Southern Unit of BreastCheck and was involved in setting up the unit.
