Lets take five minutes with Jess Hart, Senior Radiographer, to hear about her work at Wexford General Hospital.

I have been working in Wexford General Hospital since 2021.

I studied Radiography as a mature student and arrived to the welcoming Radiology team as a new graduate. My fellow radiographers took me under their wings and gave me great help and support so that I felt very confident prior to starting busy on-call duties.

I enjoy working with a close knit team in Wexford General Hospital. So far I have progressed into training in CT and completed a Master’s of Science in Abdominal and Vascular Ultrasound. My time to date in Wexford General Hospital has been very enjoyable and I have made some great friends for life. Wexford General’s size allows for all departments to get to know each other and work really well together. It is often said by patients how friendly the staff in our hospital are, and I think it is a credit to all of us.

My job as a Radiographer allows for a great work/life balance (which is perfect for me as I have a lot of hobbies!).
