Application Stage: What do I need to submit?
1. A copy of the photograph page of your current passport
2. Proof of documentation permitting you to work in the state (if applicable)
3. NCHD English Language Requirements (Applicants from Medical Schools Outside of Ireland) Please see guide for exemptions. NB One Skill Retake is not acceptable.
4. Conferral Date and Centile Confirmation Date form (Applicants from Medical Schools Outside of Ireland)
5. Work Permits: Applicants who are non-EEA nationals and hold a valid Stamp 1, Stamp 1G, Stamp 4, Stamp 4D, Stamp 4 EUFam, or Stamp 5 Irish Residence Permit (IRP) card are not required to obtain an employment permit. Please note that the relevant permission must remain valid up to and including commencement of internship in July 2027.
Holders of Stamp 2 IRP cards must also ensure that their card is valid at the application closing date. If your Stamp 2 permission is due to expire before commencement of internship in July 2027, it is recommended that you begin the renewal process before commencing your academic year to avoid any potential delays at later stages.
